Commitment to DE&I

Teneo believes that sensitivity toward diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) makes us better advisors and drives better business outcomes.

We are making progress, and, while we are encouraged by the downward trend in our pay gap and by the increases in female representation in our most senior roles over the past three years, we understand that the picture is complex, and sustained reductions will take time to achieve. We are taking action to accelerate this process in various ways:

  • Partnering with our Inclusive Culture Council (ICC) on policies and practices
  • Building out our DE&I strategic plans alongside our Gender Action Plan
  • Reviewing our approach to pay

By increasing transparency and holding ourselves to account for fair and equitable decisions, we hope to reinforce our employees’ confidence in the fairness of their compensation and career progression.

In these reports, we assess the gender pay gap for our UK business, including all employees and members of senior leadership, and share actions we are taking that demonstrate our commitment to reducing our gender pay gap.

Women in Finance CharterTeneo’s Financial Advisory business in the UK has set a goal to achieve 30% female representation across leadership (Director grade and above) by the end of March 2027.

Focused on investing in the right support, we aim to achieve strong career progression and inclusive recruitment processes across all business segments at Teneo.

Our action plans are specifically focused on building an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive. Key initiatives include strengthening governance and oversight, enhancing methods for attracting diverse talent, providing tailored training and development opportunities and implementing progressive policies. These policies aim to facilitate flexible working, promote the health and well-being of our employees, and reward and recognise those who contribute to our inclusive culture.
