Commitment to DE&I

Commitment to DE&I

At Teneo, we are committed to promoting and embedding diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) across the business. The moral imperative to keep this at the forefront of our people strategy is mirrored by the business case. Not only is it the right thing to do – it helps us attract and retain top talent, create an engaged workforce, promote strong business performance and set an example for the clients we advise.

We are making progress and, while we are encouraged by our narrowing year-on-year gender pay gap, we understand that the picture is complex, and sustained reductions will take time to achieve. We are taking action to accelerate this process in various ways:

  • Partnering with the Inclusive Culture Council (ICC) on policies and practices
  • Building out our DE&I strategic plans alongside our Gender Action Plan
  • Reviewing our approach to pay

By increasing transparency and holding ourselves to account for fair and equitable decisions, we hope to reinforce our people’s confidence that they are compensated fairly and equitably for their work.

In these reports, we assess the gender pay gap for our UK business, including all employees and members of senior leadership, and share actions we are taking that demonstrate our commitment to reducing our gender pay gap.

Women in Finance Charter
Teneo’s Financial Advisory business has committed to setting a goal of 30% female representation across leadership (Director grade and above) by the end of March 2027.

Focused on investing in the right support, we aim to achieve strong career progression and inclusive recruitment processes across all business segments at Teneo.

Our action plans are specifically focused on building an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive. Our plans include changes to governance and oversight, methods for attracting diverse talent, tailored training and development, alongside the implementation of progressive policies. These policies aim to facilitate flexible working, promote the health and well-being of our employees, and reward and recognise those who contribute to our inclusive culture.
