Vaughan Grandin

Director

Vaughan Grandin leads the Teneo financial modeling team and marries extensive financial modelling and restructuring expertise to guide companies and stakeholders through critical situations.

Vaughan has more than 15 years’ experience of corporate advisory, finance, and restructuring experience helping corporates, lenders, and investors, often involving financial distress or significant regulatory and political scrutiny. He specialises in financial modelling and has experience in working capital optimisation and contingency planning.

Vaughan is a qualified chartered accountant and came 8th in South Africa in his final Board examinations.

  • Payment protection insurance remediation: seconded to a UK clearing bank to help understand and calculate their c£17bn of PPI remediation claims to customers.
  • Business plan forecasting for a $1bn revenue Singaporean subsea construction company for potential equity investment and Chapter 11 restructuring.
  • Remediation modelling: ascertaining the potential damages for an international pipeline owner dealing with regulatory and political issues.
  • Estimated outcomes analysis modelling for a global commodities business ($7bn assets) to support a proposed scheme of arrangement.
  • Modelling of a business plan for a £100m revenue classic car retailer to support lender negotiations.
