Tim Bogaert is a Senior Consultant with Teneo’s Strategy and Communications business, based in Brussels.
Tim currently advises a range of clients on public affairs, geopolitics, crisis communications and campaigning with a focus on the energy, cleantech and automotive sectors. He has extensive experience in energy policy, advising a range of clients on the European political response to the 2021/2023 energy crisis, and is currently advising significant energy & mobility companies on the next European mandate. Tim’s current focus is on European competitiveness and the green transition.
Before joining Teneo, Tim worked as a parliamentary assistant in the Federal Parliament of Belgium for the former president of the Climate & Energy Committee, working on both communications and energy & climate policy files. He also completed traineeships at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and Technopolis Group, a policy consultancy.
Tim holds an advanced master’s degree in European Integration from the Brussels School of Governance, as well as a master’s degree in Communication Studies from the Free University of Brussels.
