Simon Pritchett is a Senior Managing Director with Teneo, based in London. He has over 20 years od experience in strategic communications.
Simon works closely with the leadership teams of global clients to help them tell their story and develop distinctive contributions to multiple audience agendas, enhancing their reputation and extending their licence to operate.
Simon has deep experience in telecoms and technology. He helped UK satellite company Inmarsat win the argument for its combination with U.S. based Viasat, making the case with investors, media, customers and regulators, with the $7bn deal completing in June 2023. Simon is currently advising Vodafone on its proposed merger with Three UK, a transaction affecting millions of customers.
Simon supports easyJet on all aspects of its positioning both with the city and with customers, including sustainability. Simon also advises Europe leadership at Dow Chemicals on its strategy to advance the most circular plastics with the lowest CO2 footprint in the face of huge scrutiny from environmental campaigners, and is helping the UK’s business with its decarbonisation plans.
For many years, Simon worked with McDonald’s on its employer brand, employee value proposition and talent attraction plans both in the UK and globally. Simon has devised and executed some of Teneo’s most awarded campaigns, including the petition to change the dictionary definition of ‘McJob’ for McDonald’s.
His early career was spent in local journalism and Whitehall.
