Simon Beauchemin is a Vice President with Teneo’s Strategy and Communications business, based in Montréal. He is an experienced public affairs professional with a background in strategic communications, public policy development, government relations and stakeholder engagement.
He previously served as an advisor on Canada-U.S. relations to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, during which time he participated in the renegotiation of NAFTA, and as director of policy to the Minister of Export Promotion, Small Business & International Trade.
Prior to joining Teneo, Simon worked at a leading public affairs firm where he advised a range of clients on strategic communications, government relations, public policy, and thought leadership.
Simon obtained his bachelor’s degree in political science (B.Sc.) at the Université de Montréal and his master’s in international relations (MPhil) at the University of Cambridge.
