Nick Greenslade is a Managing Director with the firm’s Strategy and Communications business, based in London.
Nick joined Teneo in January 2024 from News UK, where he was deputy sports editor of The Times and The Sunday Times, with sole responsibility for editing the market leading Sunday Times sports section, for over a decade. In this role, he led the paper’s global coverage of social and political issues surrounding sports as diverse as football, cricket, cycling and rugby. Since 2019, Nick has been the Editorial Director of The Sunday Times’ Sportswoman of the Year Awards. He is also the author of a successful sports book, The Thin White Line, the story of Pakistan cricket’s spot-fixing scandal in 2010.
Prior to his time at News UK, Nick was a Features Executive at The Daily Mall, where he commissioned and edited features on current affairs, politics, history entertainment and sport. Before The Daily Mall, Nick was a Deputy Editor with The Observer, where he served as the acting editor and contributed features on sports as well as business and media issues. Nick began his career in journalism with The Nation as an Editorial assistant where he worked on editing and researching articles.
Nick has a BA in History from St. John’s College at Cambridge University and an MBA from HEC Paris. He is also near fluent in French.
