Nick Claydon

Vice Chairman, Global Strategy & Communications

Nick Claydon is Vice Chairman, Global Strategy & Communications. His work reflects the international span and breadth of Teneo’s offer and includes advising clients on managing complex reputational challenges, major crisis and M&A.

Nick was previously Chief Executive of Teneo UK for five years, responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm and overseeing a period of profitable growth, including the successful acquisition of Tulchan, helping to create a differentiated force in the market.

Prior to joining Teneo, Nick was a Senior Partner at Brunswick Group LLP, an international corporate and financial communications consulting firm where he spent more than twenty years. In that time, he ran the London office, served on the global executive committee, and led the firm’s offer to major clients.

Nick was previously Head of Communications at British Airways, responsible for worldwide PR. He began his career as a parliamentary aide and political consultant in Westminster.

Nick has held several non-executive roles, including serving as a trustee of the political think tank Demos, a board member of Maggie’s and a member of the development boards of both the English National Ballet and the English National Opera.
