Morgan Bell is a Senior Vice President with Teneo’s Strategy and Communications business, based in Calgary.
Before joining Teneo, Morgan led media and public relations for WestJet, one of Canada’s largest airlines. As the airline’s corporate spokesperson, she managed the airline’s reputation and issues management response, developing strong business, consumer, and stakeholder relationships across North America. Morgan was an integral communications advisor through major events such as the 2019 Boeing MAX grounding, pandemic border closures, and multiple labour negotiations. She was also responsible for the airline’s external-facing commercial, network, and operational announcements, working closely with the airline’s government relations, investor relations, network, sponsorship, marketing, and revenue teams.
With an extensive background in media relations, strategic communications, stakeholder and public relations, Morgan has also served as the Manager of Communications for Hockey Canada, where she attended the 2018 Olympic Winter Games as Media Lead for Canada’s National Women’s Hockey Team. Working in external-facing roles for two of North America’s largest National Sport Organizations in both hockey and golf, Morgan has traveled globally representing some of Canada’s most decorated athletes, while positively positioning businesses through major crisis events and public campaigns.
Morgan has a graduate degree in Sports Journalism from Centennial College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Montevallo in Alabama, where she attended on an NCAA golf scholarship prior to competing globally on various professional women’s golf tours.
