Monika is an experienced practitioner in financial communications, focusing on investor engagement and corporate positioning as well as special situations including merger and acquisitions, shareholder activism and IPOs.

Monika has extensive experience advising corporations in complex situations such as major cross-border transactions as well as ongoing best practices in shareholder engagement. Prior to joining Teneo, she was a partner at Brunswick Group, where she advised clients in a variety of industries for over ten years, including in the consumer, healthcare, technology, mining and the industrials sectors.

Before joining Brunswick, she was at Bear Stearns in equity research where she covered the retail sector on an Institutional Investor ranked team, primarily focusing on large-cap companies. She also covered the retail sector across a range of market caps at ABN Amro, Inc. and started her career as an investment banking analyst at ING Barings LLC.

She holds a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College and is a CFA charter holder. She has spoken at multiple conferences and events on best practices in financial communications.
