Micah Alpern is a Senior Managing Director with Teneo’s People Advisory team. Micah is a globally recognized expert and thought leader on Culture and Leadership.

Micah has almost 20 years of experience advising organizations and executives through transformations and transactions across all industries. He has a history of growing leaders and evolving corporate culture to enable strategy, accelerate transformation, enhance the employee experience and improve performance. He also has deep expertise in team effectiveness, change management and talent management.

Micah’s passion for culture and leadership led to him writing many articles on the topics and being quoted as an expert in major publications such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Wired, The Washington Post and others. He has also appeared on CNBC and several podcasts and has delivered multiple speaking engagements at Board and Executive forums on the people agenda, culture, leadership and remote work. This resulted in Micah being recognized as a leading thinker in these areas, including being identified as a “Remote Work Influencer” the last two years in a row.

Prior to joining Teneo, Micah was a partner at EY where he built a Culture and Leadership offering. Before that he was a Senior Principal at Kearney and spent eight years at Booz & Company/Booz Allen Hamilton. He has a Masters in Business Management from the University of Florida and a Bachelors in Economics and Communications from Northwestern University.
