Melissa Mackreath is a Managing Director in Teneo’s Strategy & Communications team in New York.
Since relocating to New York just over four years ago from Teneo’s London office, Melissa has led integrated communications and stakeholder engagement briefs for a number of high profile global clients. She specializes in helping clients facing reputational challenges develop strategies to influence a range of business, policy and stakeholder audiences.
Prior to this Melissa spent 10 years in London translating audience insights into powerful campaigns that delivered reputation and commercial results for her clients. Melissa has extensive experience partnering with advertising, media and digital agencies to deliver communications across multiple channels to different audiences. One of the campaigns she helped develop and execute, for a large UK charity, is credited with influencing behavior change that has saved lives.
As part of Teneo London’s Strategy Consulting team, Melissa also has experience in organizational design, helping clients structure corporate affairs functions in line with business priorities, embed new ways of working, and build capability.
Melissa graduated with a first class honors degree in War Studies and History from King’s College London. She is a dual US / UK citizen.
