Lloyd Xu is a Senior Vice President, based in Hong Kong. He plays a key role in Teneo’s financial communications and investor relations advisory for companies in the Hong Kong SAR and Mainland China markets. Throughout his career, Lloyd has provided capital markets and IR advisory across IPOs, acquisitions, business transformations, restructuring and leadership changes in Hong Kong, China, Japan and the US.

Prior to Teneo, Lloyd served as the Co-Head of Investor Relations for Ping An Insurance Group, a Global Fortune 500 company headquartered in China. In this role, he worked closely with C-level executives to shape the company’s equity story during a multi-year business transformation. Lloyd led the company’s strategic and financial communication with investors, executed a comprehensive global investor targeting and outreach program, and contributed to the company’s ESG communication.

Before his time on investor relations, Lloyd was an award-winning equity research analyst with CLSA in Hong Kong and worked as an auditor with KPMG.

Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a CFA charter holder.
