Lisa Friedman is a Senior Managing Director in Teneo’s New York office. She advises clients on strategic communications and investor engagement.

Lisa’s experience includes investor targeting and perception studies, corporate narrative and message development and investor day planning and execution, as well as special situations such as activist response and recovery, crisis and litigation management, leadership transitions and restructuring preparedness and management. Her past and current clients span industries including agriculture, business services, cryptocurrency and fintech, equipment leasing, gaming, pharmaceuticals, retail, media and telecommunications.

Prior to joining Teneo, Lisa spent 11 years in equity research at UBS, covering telecommunications and pay TV providers and data center REITs. There, she conducted qualitative and quantitative analysis, including survey-based primary research, to drive actionable investment recommendations for institutional and hedge fund clients.

Prior to UBS, Lisa was an editor and producer for Bloomberg Radio and wrote about the telecommunications industry for Bloomberg News. She began her career at Mercer Management Consulting, now Oliver Wyman.

Lisa holds a BA in history, with honors, from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA with concentrations in marketing and finance from Columbia Business School.
