Lauren Lutz is a Senior Vice President with Teneo’s Strategy and Communications business. Lauren has worked in corporate, financial, and internal strategy and communications across diverse sectors and geographies, with a special interest in the handling of complex crisis and issues, corporate reputation management, and cross-border issues.
Lauren is currently based in Boston, MA where she advises a number of regional and national clients. Her work in the U.S. extends to strategic and crisis communications management for both public and private companies. Prior to that Lauren spent 8 years working in Abu Dhabi, UAE working closely with many of the region’s leading sovereign wealth funds, and both national and private companies around profile raising and reputation management, as well as global reputation management. She has led many clients through complex reputational challenges, with a particular emphasis on reaching cross-border audiences.
Lauren joined Teneo from Brunswick Group where she spent three years in Abu Dhabi and Dubai as a strategic and financial communications advisor working with public and private entities across the financial, heavy industry, energy and TMT industries. She lived in the Middle East for nearly 10 years, 8 of those in the UAE, and speaks Arabic, having studied at the American University of Cairo, the American University in Beirut, and completed the Middlebury College Arabic Immersion program. Prior to her time in the UAE Lauren worked in Cairo and Washington DC.
Lauren graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in International Studies and a concentration in the Middle East.
