Jacob Versteegh is a Manager with Teneo’s Financial Advisory Business, based in the British Virgin Islands.
Jacob’s work at Teneo focuses primarily on contentious insolvency and includes investigations in support of cross-border litigation and management of the asset portfolio in the insolvent liquidation of a multi-billion dollar BVI hedge fund. He has a decade of experience in insolvency & restructuring across a range of industries, jurisdictions and engagement-types, ranging from investigations into frauds and ponzi schemes in a formal liquidation context in order to recover assets for victims, to lender-side independent business reviews and bank-appointed trading receiverships.
Jacob holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate Finance) from the University of Adelaide and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He has achieved Advanced Certification from the Australian Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround Association, and holds INSOL International’s Foundation Certificate in International Insolvency Law.
