Harriet Gowan is a highly motivated Professional Services Director with over 17 years of project, change and operations management experience across a variety of sectors, including Financial Services, Law Enforcement, Technology Companies and the Public Sector.
Harriet leads the Regulatory Transformation team for Teneo in the Channel Islands and is a co-lead of the regulatory offering across the International Finance centres (Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Cayman Islands, Bermuda and BVI). She is a specialist in designing, running and delivering business critical change programmes. Recent experience includes acting as Chief of Staff on the successful wind-down of the Guernsey Trust Company subsidiary of a global bank; designing and leading the high-pressure remediation of a private bank to tight regulatory timescales; supporting a bank in developing a compliance framework and providing subject matter expertise to a local corporate service provider facing regulatory challenge and scrutiny.
She is experienced in complex and high-pressure projects, frequently fulfilling a senior management and leadership role, reporting to the C-suite, within her clients. Within Teneo, she is actively involved in Diversity and Inclusion, leading the UK-wide Family and Carers Employee Resource Group.
Harriet is PRINCE2 qualified, a National Crime Agency qualified Financial Investigator and a Committee member of the Channel Islands branch of the Association for Project Management.
