Gareth Woods is a Vice President with Teneo Risk Advisory, concentrating on Digital Intelligence. His focus is on monitoring, uncovering and mitigating digital threats impacting corporate and individual client assets across multiple business sectors.

Gareth is a seasoned threat intelligence professional with extensive expertise in digital and physical security, open-source intelligence (OSINT) and geopolitical alerting. With a career spanning over a decade, he specializes in researching, investigating and countering digital and physical threats made across social media, the deep and dark web, and various online forums.

Gareth brings robust project and editorial management experience from prior roles at tech industry giants, including Amazon and Apple, as well as real-time event and risk detection company Dataminr. He has a proven track record of leading global teams, conducting high-stakes investigations, and providing actionable intelligence to corporate and government clients.

In addition to his technical skills, Gareth is fluent in Spanish and French, having previously lived, studied, and worked in Paris, France, and Granada, Spain. He holds an MA in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the United Nations Institute of Training and Research and a BA in Translation Studies with French and Spanish from Dublin City University.
