Galaxy M.L. Chan is a Managing Director with Teneo’s Financial Advisory business, based in Hong Kong SAR.
Prior to joining Teneo, Galaxy was a Partner in KPMG Hong Kong SAR and worked with Kroll. She has over 25 years’ experience in all areas of Hong Kong SAR and China restructuring practice, formal restructuring and insolvency engagements, back-door listings, exit planning and implementation for MNCs. She takes up appointment in other jurisdictions including the BVI, Cayman Islands and Bermuda.
Over the course of her career, Galaxy has led a number of restructuring assignments which involved listed companies in Hong Kong SAR, building up experience in dealing with the regulators in Hong Kong. These companies were successfully relisted after implementation of schemes of arrangement.
Galaxy is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the UK. She holds the HKICPA Specialist Designation in Insolvency and an MBA from the Imperial College, London.
