Ed Cropley is a Managing Director with Teneo’s Strategy and Communications business, based in London.

Ed advises companies in the telecoms, media and technology sectors on their public profiles and reputations with investors, customers and governments. His experience is based on more than two decades as an international correspondent for Reuters in Europe, southeast Asia and Africa.

Besides a deep understanding of the media and an extensive network of contacts, Ed has a firm grasp of finance and international capital markets from four years as a columnist and editor for Reuters Breakingviews. He covered a wide range of high-profile European M&A deals, including regional telecoms consolidation and the $18 billion buyout of ThyssenKrupp Elevators, one of the region’s largest private-equity transactions.
