Doug Chudy is a Managing Director with Teneo on the Client Strategy Team. He provides fundamental and quantitative analysis and strategic advisory in support of Teneo clients. Primary areas of focus include corporate strategy, valuation optimization, investor perception, capital allocation, ESG and shareholder activism risk/defense.
Doug joined Teneo in 2021, bringing twenty years of experience from the investment management and banking industries and in-depth knowledge of equity markets, corporate valuation and financial analysis.
Prior to joining Teneo, Doug was a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Dalton, Greiner, Hartman, Maher & Co. (DGHM) where he performed fundamental research on U.S. equities across the market cap spectrum, with a focus on the Basic Materials, Consumer and Industrial sectors. He was also a member of the DGHM Investment Committee, Co-Lead of the Enhanced Value hedge fund and Team Lead of the Microcap Value fund.
Prior to DGHM, Doug was an Equity Research Analyst with KeyBanc Capital Markets covering the Specialty Chemical sector and prior to that, was an Assistant Vice President at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. He started his career as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division of JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Doug received his B.B.A. from Ohio University with a major in Finance and is a CFA charterholder.
