David Holukoff is a Managing Director with Teneo’s Financial Advisory business, based in the Eastern Caribbean.
David has over 23 years of experience providing restructuring and insolvency service, specializing in forensic accounting and investigation, international asset tracing and recovery, and offshore bank and investment schemes. He has held senior roles in professional services firms in Canada, the United States and the Caribbean, and has also worked in jurisdictions including Antigua and Barbuda, Anguilla, Barbados, Belize, Cayman, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, Trinidad and Tobago, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
David is a member of the Association of Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta, Canada (CA, CPA), a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE), a trustee in Bankruptcy, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and a trustee in Bankruptcy, Barbados.
Selected Project Experience:
- Stanford International Bank Ltd and associated companies in liquidation (Antigua); agent for the joint liquidator.
- Reporting on and taking control of operations in relation to over 35 different offshore banks and financial institutions. Agent for the Controller/Liquidator/Provisional Liquidator and team leader of a multinational team on engagements located in Grenada, Dominica, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines over operating banks and mutual funds with a multinational creditor base.
- Substantial governance experience, including appointments on over 25 Boards of Directors. These include contentious appointments and litigation proceedings against former directors.
- Capital Bank International Ltd (Grenada); receiver of a domestic bank with 13 branches.
- Advising the independent director of a significant development project located in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on available options for restructuring.
- Judicial Manager of British American Insurance (Barbados) Ltd. (2010-2011); Judicial Manager of an insurance Company located in Barbados with life, health and property portfolios. Took initial control over the operations and developed and conducted a process for the sale/transfer for certain portfolios.
