Daryna Chorna is an Associate Director with Teneo’s People Advisory business, based in London. She has over 15 years of experience in executive search and is currently specialised in financial services with focus on risk and compliance.

Daryna has extensive international experience and has worked across EMEA, the Americas and Asia Pacific with a variety of clients to appoint C-level executives. Clients include major public companies as well as privately owned and private equity-backed businesses.

Earlier in her career she gained extensive experience across the industrials with predominant focus on the natural resources and energy sectors.

Daryna contributes to various diversity initiatives and sits on the Education and Outreach Committee of the Women in Mining (WIM UK) and is leading one of their initiatives with Women on Boards. Also, she chairs the People Advisory DE&I Steering Committee and co-leads Teneo’s Gender Diversity Employee Representation Group.

She holds a BSc Law (Hons) from the University of Greenwich, LPC from BPP Law School and MA Banking & Finance from one of the leading universities in Ukraine. Daryna has a keen interest in finance and corporate development.

Daryna is a native Ukrainian speaker fluent in English and Russian, and speaks some German and Polish.
