Colleen Hsia is a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Transactions and Strategic Situations at Teneo. She also leads efforts in Teneo’s IPO and capital markets advisory business.
Colleen has deep expertise advising public and private companies with a focus on strategic and financial communications, investor relations, transactions and activism defense. She serves as a trusted advisor to her clients, counseling executive teams and Boards of Directors as they navigate high-stakes, existential events. She works across a wide range of industries including financial services, industrials, and technology – including fintech and AI.
Before joining Teneo, Colleen was Senior Managing Director and Head of Americas Financial Services at FTI Consulting. She previously served as Global Head of Marketing and Communications at Jane Street. She spent seven years at BlackRock, where she led teams in product strategy and institutional sales and marketing, in both New York and Hong Kong.
Earlier in her career, she was an investment analyst at Magnitude Capital, a multi-strategy hedge fund where she also led investor relations and helped it build into a multi-billion dollar firm. She began her career as an investment banker at Citigroup.
Colleen holds MBA degrees from Columbia Business School and London Business School and B.A. degrees in Economics-Political Science and East Asian Studies from Columbia University. She is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
