Claire Peers is a Senior Consultant at Teneo in Brussels.

Claire specialises in public affairs and strategic communications and advises clients on Belgian, French and European public policy issues related to competition policy, international trade, industrial policy, technology and sustainability.

Claire is currently advising a major technology company on its Public Policy Strategy in Belgium and on its engagements with the EU institutions. She is also a member of the Teneo team advising a leading global resources company and a major international ship registry on their outreach towards the EU Institutions and member states. Finally, she has been advising clients in a range of industries on interaction with policy makers, the media and other stakeholders in Brussels and across Europe.

Prior to joining Teneo, Claire spent a year working in industry. Claire initially interned at the United Nations in New York for the Permanent Mission of Belgium, primarily conducting legal research on issues relating to human rights. Following this, Claire worked in the legal department of a global producer, distributor and trader of ethanol – assisting in contractual and competition matters.
