Brian MacNeice is a Senior Managing Director with Teneo’s Strategy & Communications business, based in Dublin.
Prior to joining Teneo, Brian was the founder and Managing Director of Kotinos Partners, a Dublin-based consultancy firm focused on organizational performance.
Brian’s work there focused on serving a global client base, working with business leaders to reshape organizational structures, roles and responsibilities, and management processes to deliver improved organizational capabilities and ultimately performance transformation.
Brian is an expert in organizational high performance, strategy, change management and high performing teams, with over 20 years’ experience working with senior executives/clients on driving performance improvements in their organisations. He has led extensive research into high performance organizations including first-hand study of a range of world-leading high-performance institutions such as Southwest Airlines, Toyota, the New Zealand All Blacks, US Marine Corps, Grameen Bank, Mayo Clinic, and the Finnish School Education System. Much of this research, together with a proprietary framework for thinking about performance transformation, was published in an award-winning book “Powerhouse – Insider Insights into the World’s Leading High-Performance Organizations.”
Brian is a trusted advisor across multiple industry sectors including: Food & Drink, Pharma, Enterprise Development, Health, Financial Services, Software, Technology, Sport & Leisure and Utilities. He is also a regular conference/seminar speaker on the topic of high performance teams and organizations.
Previously, Brian worked with Genesis, Deloitte, Arthur Andersen and Vision Consulting in a variety of leadership roles in their consulting practices. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Applications, an International MBA, and an International Marketing Diploma. Brian serves as a Non Executive Director on the Boards of Cricket Ireland and Bord na gCon. He is currently President of Clontarf Cricket Club. Brian is also a World Rugby Match Official operating as a Television Match Official in Test match, European and Pro14 League level.
He lives in Dublin, Ireland with his wife, Miriam, and their three sons, Charlie, Jack and Dan.
