Andrew Lee

Senior Managing Director and Head of Teneo Digital

Andrew Lee is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Teneo Digital, where he and his team focus on elevating CEOs, the C-Suite, and their businesses across the most influential digital and social platforms, to drive online presence and build authentic stakeholder communications.

Andrew works with Teneo’s Fortune 500 clients on digital and social strategy, profile positioning, channel development, content amplification, online reputational development, digital defense, and real-time crisis management.

Prior to joining Teneo in 2018, Andrew spent more than five years in Silicon Valley at Eventbrite, the world’s largest digital event management and ticketing platform. During this time, he served in a variety of roles centered on digital strategy, activation, and solutions, building company and brand partnerships with clients such as Bon Appétit, Food Network, HBO, NBA, Pepsi, and PGA Tour. Andrew was with Eventbrite from its time as a Bay Area tech startup, through its growth into a global unicorn and IPO on the NYSE.

Prior to this, Andrew served as Editorial Director of Hipolitics, a new media platform fusing politics and pop culture, featuring exclusive content from celebrities, athletes, and political figures. Before his career in digital technology and communications advisory, Andrew spent six years working in higher education, both as a lecturer and researcher in Sociology and Political Thought at American and Canadian universities.

Andrew has also worked abroad for the Japanese government developing cultural exchange programs in Kansai. He began his career in the Teach for America organization, teaching literacy to young people from disadvantaged urban communities in Northern California.

Andrew holds a B.A. in English from Syracuse University, an M.A. in Politics from York University, and an M.A. in Sociology from the University of California-Santa Barbara.
