Amanda Grant

Senior Managing Director

Amanda Grant is a Senior Managing Director, with Teneo’s People Advisory business.  She has a distinguished track record of over 25 years of Financial Services leadership, globally advising and recruiting C-suite leaders in corporate strategy, talent needs, DE&I, infrastructure and organic and inorganic growth.

Amanda harnesses her leadership, practical industry experience, innovative approach to enterprise business management, and extensive network to recruit the most senior and diverse leaders and teams in financial services. Amanda advises asset and wealth management firms, banks, FinTech and Private Equity companies, portfolio companies and Venture Capital firms. She understands the challenges and opportunities faced by today’s business leaders and serves as a trusted partner and advisor on senior leadership team structure, distribution infrastructure, operating and investment teams, strategy, and talent.

Amanda joined Teneo from Calibre One where she was a Partner and Co-Head of the Financial Innovations practice. In her prior position, she was a Managing Partner for a boutique executive search firm dedicated to distribution and investment search in asset and wealth management. Previously, Amanda was the Global Head of Institutional Client Service and an Operating Committee member at Columbia Management. She held the same position and served on the Executive Committee at Babson Capital Management. Amanda’s earlier career included senior distribution and investment leadership positions at Oppenheimer Capital and Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management. Amanda co-founded Curant Associates, an asset management consulting boutique and founded USAdopt, the first national US adoption consultancy.

Amanda graduated summa cum laude from Pace University with a BA in English Literature and Marketing, and from Hunter College – CUNY with an MA in English Literature. She is a passionate advocate for children without families and an industry pioneer in the advancement of underrepresented students and professionals.

Amanda is a member of Chief and serves on university and charter school boards. She is also a council member of the BPEACE Women Forward Global Advisory Council.
