Alexander Miehls

Managing Director

Alexander Miehls is a Managing Director in the Transactions and Strategic Situations Group at Teneo. Drawing on extensive experience in the U.S. Congress and private sector, Alex advises clients at the intersection of political and economic affairs, helping them navigate high-stakes situations, capitalize on investment opportunities and manage regulatory complexities.

Prior to joining Teneo, Alex was a Senior Director at FTI Consulting, where he advised C-suite executives across a range of complex and high-stakes situations critical to corporate growth and strategy. Earlier in his career, Alex spent nearly a decade navigating the dynamic landscape of national politics and media, providing strategic counsel to high-profile political leaders and national news anchors.

At Fox News Channel, Alex played a pivotal role during two election cycles, including eight presidential town halls. Alex also held senior roles on Capitol Hill, working for the House Oversight Committee, Speaker John Boehner, former Senate Leader Mitch McConnell and Senator Marco Rubio during key national events such as government shutdowns and congressional investigations into the private sector.

Alex completed a fellowship at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution and holds B.A. degrees in International Relations and Government and Foreign Affairs from Walsh University.
