Alan Wong is a founding member of Teneo’s Credit Solutions Group, with over 12 years of experience working within the financial services sector. Alan specialises in the structuring and execution of loan portfolio transactions.
Prior to Teneo, Alan was a Director in Deloitte’s Global Portfolio Lead Advisory Services team, where he was focused on advising banks, insurers, public-bodies and financial sponsors across both asset sales and funding solutions. During his time at Deloitte, Alan structured and executed loan portfolio transactions in the UK, Europe and Asia.
Selected Project Experience:
- Advised an International Bank on the sale of a series of consumer unsecured loan portfolios across six countries in Asia.
- Advised a European Bank on a country exit including the sales of two residential mortgage portfolios.
- Advised an International Bank on the sale of a €2.1bn consumer unsecured NPL portfolio in Spain.
- Advised a financial sponsor on their successful acquisition of an €800m SME NPL portfolio in Spain.
- Advised a financial sponsor in their acquisition of a $15bn performing CRE portfolio in United States.
