Abeer Abou Shammala is Vice President and  Head of Arabic Content and Arabization with Teneo’s Strategy & Communications business. She has more than 20 years of experience in business journalism.

Before joining Teneo, Abou worked with Alkhaleej newspaper as Deputy head of business department and head of reporting team. She has significant experience in the field of business reporting and translation.

During her work as business journalist, Abou covered different major events in UAE and has done several interviews with global and regional business leaders in different industries. She covered developments in different business sectors including banking, finance and macroeconomics. She has conducted economic researches and prepared special reports about most important events globally.

Abou also has experience in data analysis. She was the head of reporting team and the deputy head of business department in Alkhaleej newspaper leading reporters covering all business sectors in UAE. Abeer received her BCom from Cairo University and also has a Diploma and an Advanced Diploma in translation and simultaneous interpretation from AUC.
