Sarah M. Syed joins Teneo as a Managing Director in Germany

Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Sarah M. Syed as a Managing Director in the firm's Berlin office.

Sarah will join the firm’s Strategy & Communications Advisory business following her parental leave in March 2022. She will be based in Berlin.

For more than a decade, Sarah has worked as a financial reporter in London and across Germany covering some of the biggest deals in European private equity and M&A. Most recently, Sarah was responsible for German technology coverage at Bloomberg, focusing on the ever-growing startup community and the country’s largest tech and telecoms companies. Prior to reporting for Bloomberg, Sarah reported on the European leveraged loans market for Debtwire.

Sarah has been interviewed regularly for her expertise on private equity and M&A for Bloomberg TV and CNBC and will leverage her many years of reporting experience in her new role. Sarah started her career at the Financial Times Deutschland.

Sarah holds a degree in European Studies from Queen Mary University of London.
