Teneo’s Paris Team Expands with the Arrival of Virginie Christnacht

Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the strengthening of its Paris office with the appointment of Virginie Christnacht as a Senior Managing Director, along with the role expansions of Monique Leroux as a Senior Advisor and Nathalie de Gaulle as Vice Chair at Teneo.

Virginie Christnacht brings more than 20 years of experience in executive consulting, as well as in corporate and financial communications. With dual expertise in both the public and private sectors, she previously held the position of Director of Communications at Eurazeo.

Prior to this, she was director of the Government Information Service (SIG) under the authority of the Prime Minister. She also held the position of head of the press service at the Elysée from 2014-2017 and at the Paris City Hall from 2008-2010. Virginie began her career in the private sector at Vinci, Dexia and CNP Assurances. She is a graduate of the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, as well of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Management at Nancy II University.

Monique Leroux, already a Senior Advisor with Teneo in Canada, will take on an additional Senior Advisor role with Teneo’s presence in France, bringing her expertise in transatlantic economic circles. Monique is the former CEO of a major global financial company, the Canadian Desjardins Group, and currently sits on the boards of directors of several major international groups, including Michelin, Bell and Couche-Tard.

Nathalie de Gaulle, a Teneo Senior Advisor since 2022, will now take on the role of Vice Chair at Teneo. Nathalie is a French entrepreneur, former investment banker and member of the executive committee of MEDEF Comex40. In her new position, Nathalie will support Teneo’s French and global clients in their international growth and will develop the group’s business efforts, particularly to the United States and the Gulf.

“Virginie Christnacht and Monique Leroux will join Olivier Jay, Mathilde Oliveau, Stéphane Dupuis, Guillaume Gauvillé, Nathalie de Gaulle and myself to reinforce our advisory offer to the C-Suite,” said Philippe Maze-Sencier, President of Teneo France. “These appointments illustrate the dynamism of Teneo’s Paris office almost four years after its launch in the French capital. We are also capitalising on our work for international business leaders present in France to affirm our position as one of the key agencies in Paris. Virginie’s experience with the private equity world will also be particularly relevant to Teneo’s M&A and special situations practices in France and in Europe,” he added.
