Teneo Launches ‘Teneo Connect’
Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the launch of ‘Teneo Connect,’ the firm’s new business unit focused on creating impactful convenings and facilitating unique insights and relationships.
As businesses navigate complex global challenges, from geopolitical tensions to social change to technological disruption, Teneo Connect will help companies build their own convening platforms while also advising them to achieve the highest return on investment across a broad range of external convenings. Teneo Connect will also leverage the firm’s extensive network of CEOs, thought leaders and advisors across a range of industries to help clients expand their networks and access unique insights to inform their overall strategy.
The importance of convenings has increased with the proliferation of AI-generated content and the volume of content distribution. Approximately 400m terabytes of data are created each day, which highlights the challenge companies face in navigating a complex web of disparate information. Teneo Connect enables business leaders to respond to this challenge by helping them gather stakeholders and drive analysis of what is important from this ever-expanding supply of content.
Holly Lemkau has joined the firm as Head of Teneo Connect and Senior Managing Director. Holly joins Teneo after more than 15 years at Bloomberg LP, most recently as Managing Director of Global Forums, where she launched key initiatives including the Bloomberg New Economy Forum, the Bloomberg Global Business Forum and the company’s first Bloomberg House at Davos. She helped contribute to significant revenue growth for Bloomberg Live’s Forum business, as well as expansion into new markets around the world.
“CEOs and senior business leaders increasingly need access to critical insights across a wide range of topics where they can interact with subject experts, thought leaders, and other peer executives,” said Chris Wearing, Teneo’s Chief Commercial Officer. “The need for timely, actionable information has never been greater, and Teneo Connect will provide our clients with access to insights and perspectives they cannot get from any other firm. We are very pleased to welcome Holly to Teneo, and I look forward to working with her to build out Teneo Connect.”
Teneo Connect will deliver bespoke convenings alongside the global power calendar of high-profile gatherings of business leaders – including the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, the Milken Global Conference, United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP) and other key convenings – and also in response to significant macro financial and geopolitical developments.
In addition, Teneo Connect will create and execute an ongoing series of events featuring exclusive content for clients starting this fall, with a series focused on the impact of the upcoming US elections. This series features insights from a range of former government officials, advisors and other experts from both sides of the aisle.
“In an era of content overload, the real value lies in the power of convening and connecting – bringing together thought leaders, experts and decision-makers to engage in meaningful, person-to-person dialogues that help CEOs improve their thinking and decisions,” Lemkau said. “Teneo Connect capitalizes on this trend, offering CEOs exclusive access to in-the-moment insights from influential figures across industries, media and government. I am incredibly excited to join Teneo and collaborate with colleagues around the world to develop this new business offering.”
