TENEO APPOINTS URSULA BURNS CHAIRWOMAN
Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Ursula Burns as Chairwoman, effective immediately. Ms. Burns has served as a Senior Advisor to Teneo since 2017 and was previously a client of the firm.
In her role as Chairwoman, Ursula will work closely with Teneo CEO Paul Keary and members of the firm’s senior management team to support Teneo’s next phase of growth around the world.
Ursula most recently served as CEO and Chairwoman of VEON Ltd, a global telecom company. From 2010 to 2017, she was the Chairwoman of the Board of the Xerox Corporation, Chief Executive Officer from 2009 to 2016 and President from 2007 to 2009. Ursula was the first African American female chief executive of a Fortune 500 Company. She is a Director of several leading public companies and also serves on non-profit and private company boards.
