Teneo Appoints Tim Daubenspeck as a Senior Managing Director



Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Tim Daubenspeck as a Senior Managing Director with the firm’s US Strategy & Communications business.

Tim joined Teneo from Brunswick Group where he was a Partner and the U.S. lead for the firm’s Strategic Investor Relations practice. He has over 20 years of equity investment experience on both the buy- and sell-side and has advised global clients across multiple sectors on their ongoing investor positioning and engagement as well as special situations such as , investor days, M&A, IPOs, divestitures, restructuring and shareholder activism.

Prior to Brunswick Group, Tim spent 20 years on Wall Street, where he was most recently a portfolio manager and senior equity analyst at ClearBridge Investments. As Chairman of the ClearBridge Proxy Committee, he engaged in extensive consultations with CEOs and board members for an asset manager with over $140 billion in assets. Prior to joining ClearBridge, Tim was a senior sell-side analyst covering the IT industry for Pacific Crest Securities in the United States and before that for SG Cowen Securities in London. He began his career as a technical software consultant at IBM Global Services.

Tim holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Franklin and Marshall College.
