Teneo Appoints Seiji Inada as a Managing Director in Tokyo



Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Seiji Inada as a Managing Director with the firm’s Strategy and Communications business in Tokyo. Seiji brings over two decades of experience in international relations and strategic advisory to the firm.

Prior to joining Teneo, Seiji served as the Japan Country Representative for Eurasia Group, where he provided strategic counsel to C-suite executives across various sectors. He has also served as a senior advisor to KPMG in Japan in the area of geopolitics and economic security risk management.

Seiji began his career at Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, holding roles in the Economic Affairs Bureau and Japan’s Delegation to the European Union. He later served at the Prime Minister’s Office, where he advised on national security and crisis management and coordinated Japan-U.S. efforts during the Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear disaster.

Seiji has held leadership positions at PwC Japan, MetLife Japan and the World Economic Forum, specializing in public and corporate affairs. He is a recognized thought leader on geopolitics and economic security and is a frequent speaker on these topics. He has served on Japan’s National Security Council in the Prime Minister’s office, as well as on the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications’ International Strategy Working Group.
