Teneo Appoints Jorge Burgaleta as a Senior Advisor

Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Jorge Burgaleta as a Senior Advisor. Jorge will use his knowledge and market connectivity to help expand Teneo’s Financial Advisory business across Spain.

Jorge spent 28 years at BBVA Bank, where he held senior roles, including global head of restructuring, global head of debt structuring and head of structured finance in the Americas / Latin America. During his time at BBVA, Jorge worked on some of the largest restructurings and new financings in Spain and Latin America.

Since leaving BBVA in 2018, Jorge has been focused on debt advisory in the mid-market in Spain. He was also a senior advisor for the TCI Fund, while also working across many industry sectors, including renewable energy, toll road, infrastructure, cement and power.
