Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced a significant addition to its Forensics and Investigations practice within its global Financial Advisory business with the hiring of Amanda Rigby as a Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Forensics and Investigations.

Based in Chicago, Amanda will work closely with Nathan Cook, Senior Managing Director and Head of U.S. Financial Advisory, to expand the firm’s forensic investigations and financial crime services in the U.S. These services will specialize in financial asset tracing, investigation of financial irregularities, risk mitigation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and process remediation. She will work closely with leaders in the firm’s global Forensics and Investigations practice, including Gary Polkowitz and James Feltman in New York, Jeff Stower in the Cayman Islands, Russell Crumpler in the British Virgin Islands, Charlie Thresh in Bermuda and Alex Adam, Andy Wood and Armando Nardo in the UK.

Before joining Teneo, Amanda was a Vice President with Charles River Associates, where she was focused on growing the firm’s business. Prior to that, she spent 17 years at KPMG, most recently serving as a Principal and Practice Leader. In this role, she led a team of more than 750 professionals in forensic services across the U.S. and Latin America. During her tenure, she served as the forensic practice leader, One Americas leader and Global Investigations leader.

In Chicago, Amanda joins Teneo Senior Advisor Peter Thompson who joined the firm in May as part of a broader expansion of Teneo’s operations in the Midwest, which is home to many of Teneo’s existing clients.

Nathan Cook said, “We are thrilled to welcome Amanda to Teneo to help lead the growth of the firm’s global Forensics and Investigations practice. She brings extensive knowledge and experience to the role, and I look forward to partnering with her to expand our footprint across the U.S. Her addition to the firm also bolsters our presence in Chicago, a key market for the firm’s services.”

“Building out Teneo’s global forensics and investigations practice is a key pillar of our strategy to offer financial advisory clients a comprehensive set of services around the world,” said Dan Butters, CEO of Teneo’s Global Financial Advisory business. “I am delighted to welcome Amanda to our growing team in the U.S. She will be a great leader of our broader forensics and investigations team as we continue to build out this important capability.”

“I am very excited to join Teneo and help drive growth in the firm’s Financial Advisory practice,” said Amanda Rigby. “Teneo’s integrated offer is unique in the industry, and I look forward to working with my new colleagues around the world.”
