Teneo Appoints Alexander Miehls as a Managing Director

Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Alexander Miehls as a Managing Director in the firm’s Strategy and Communications business in New York.

Alex will support the growth of Teneo’s Transactions and Strategic Situations Group, which is focused on delivering integrated advice related to M&A, shareholder activism, restructuring and IPOs. Drawing on his extensive experience as a Congressional staff member and in the private sector, Alex will help Teneo guide clients at the intersection of political and economic affairs, allowing them to better navigate high-stakes situations, capitalize on investment opportunities and manage regulatory complexities.

Prior to joining Teneo, Alex was a Senior Director at FTI Consulting, where he advised C-suite executives across a range of complex and high-stakes situations critical to corporate growth and strategy. Earlier in his career, Alex spent nearly a decade navigating the dynamic landscape of national politics and media, providing strategic counsel to high-profile political leaders and national news anchors.

At Fox News Channel, Alex played a pivotal role during two election cycles, including eight presidential town halls. Alex also held senior roles on Capitol Hill, working for the House Oversight Committee, Speaker John Boehner, former Senate Leader Mitch McConnell and Senator Marco Rubio during key national events such as government shutdowns and congressional investigations into the private sector.
