Rolf Benders Joins Teneo as a Managing Director in Germany

Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Rolf Benders as a Managing Director in the firm's Frankfurt Office.

Rolf will join Teneo's Strategy & Communications Advisory business in January 2022 and will be an integral part of expanding Teneo's offering in Europe's largest economy.

Rolf has over 20 years of experience in financial and business journalism and is a seasoned communications advisor for international institutions and companies. Rolf has substantial experience in issues and stakeholder management, capital markets communications, reputation-shaping through strategic thought leadership campaigns, change communications and executive coaching.

Prior to joining Teneo, Rolf led external and internal engagement as Head of Communications in Continental Europe for international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. His career also included communicating for the European Central Bank during the set up of the European Banking Union and reporting as US Correspondent in New York City for Handelsblatt, Germany’s leading business and financial daily, during the financial crisis and the Obama administrations and leading the paper’s Financial Services team. Prior to joining Handelsblatt Rolf led the Capital Markets team for Reuters in Frankfurt.
