Mai Mizuta Joins Teneo as a Managing Director

Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announces the appointment of Mai Mizuta as Managing Director, Strategy & Communications Advisory, in Tokyo.

Mai will be responsible for advising Teneo’s local and global clients on the issues most pressing to CEOs and leadership in Japan. This will include strategic positioning, issues advisory, corporate governance, financial communications, and stakeholder relations.

Mai joins from Acuris, where she was Asia-Pacific Content Director for global M&A intelligence services Mergermarket and Dealreporter. At Acuris, she was responsible for editorial content direction, strategy, and the management of seven bureaus across Asia Pacific. She led a dedicated team of journalists covering mergers and acquisitions and news related to corporates, private equity, event-driven developments and special situations. Mai was also Japan Bureau Chief, Acuris.

Mai speaks Japanese and English, and has been based in Tokyo since 2008. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia.
