Duncan Sherriffs Joins Teneo as a Senior Managing Director

Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Duncan Sherriffs as a Senior Managing Director in its Financial Advisory business.

Duncan will lead the continued growth of Teneo’s Debt Capital Markets Advisory offering, building on the firm’s existing capabilities, to create a global team with the skills and experience to advise clients on complex refinancings and debt raises, across a range of situations.

Duncan brings over 20 years of debt capital market experience as both an advisor and principal. He has originated, diligenced, structured and executed over 200 debt transactions, investing across the entire European private debt spectrum, across a broad range of sectors and jurisdictions.

Before joining Teneo, Duncan was a Managing Director in the Capital Solutions Group at Stifel over the last two years. Before joining Stifel, he ran his own advisory boutique (which Stifel acquired) and spent 12 years in the Leveraged Finance team at M&G Investments. He was a voting member of the Investment Committee as the business grew from €1bn to €10bn AUM. Prior to that he was an investment banker at JPMorgan.

Duncan will work closely with Managing Director Chris Edwards, who leads Teneo’s UK National Debt Advisory practice.
