David Issmer Joins Teneo to Lead the New Public Affairs Practice in Germany

Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointment of David Issmer as a Managing Director in the firm's Berlin office.

In his new role, David will head the newly established Berlin office and lead the German Public Affairs practice, further expanding Teneo's offering for consultancy in Germany. As a fully qualified lawyer, he has substantial experience in providing guidance on legislative and regulatory priorities and positioning clients' strategic interests in politics.

David has over 15 years of experience in politics and consulting at the highest levels of state. He started his career as Head of an MP office in the German Federal Parliament, followed by stints at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and the Federal Council of Germany. David also has significant corporate experience representing the interests of an international group of companies. Prior to joining Teneo, David served at international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer where he led a team of regulatory and public affairs experts.

David holds an MBA in Public Affairs & Leadership from Quadriga University Berlin and is admitted to the bar in Germany.
