Teneo Appoints Julie Toran as Managing Director

Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Julie Toran as a Managing Director with the firm’s Strategy and Communications business.

Julie will serve as an advisor to corporate clients on key issues related to business strategy and communications. She draws on nearly 20 years of experience as an analyst and portfolio manager at various investment firms, most recently Lazard Asset Management and Franklin Templeton.

Julie has covered companies in a wide range of sectors and geographies over the course of her career and has focused on all aspects of investor decision-making. As a result of her extensive experience, she is able to analyze historical and expected financial performance, competitive positioning, management strategy and proxy measures, in addition to other salient factors.

Julie started her career as an investment banking analyst at Citigroup. She holds a BSE in Operations Research and Financial Engineering (cum laude) from Princeton University and an MBA (with distinction) from New York University's Stern School of Business, as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
