Teneo’s Management Consulting division advises executive-level clients on strategic topics across a range of issues central to the success of their business. Consultants will gain broad exposure to different industries as well as project types and have the opportunity to contribute to the team outside of normal casework.

 

What You’ll Do:

As an Associate Consultant within our Management Consulting division, you will work in teams to deliver solutions for clients, with responsibilities including:

  • Working closely with project leaders to help address specific client challenges or questions within the broader context of an engagement
  • Using a hypothesis-driven approach to develop and test insights for our clients
  • Conducting client and industry-specific research
  • Creating compelling presentations to convey recommendations to specific audiences
  • Contributing to and presenting in client and internal presentations, workshops, and meetings (formal and informal)
  • Collaborating with colleagues and experts across Teneo’s global network
  • Participating in client presentations, workshops, and meetings
  • Assisting in writing proposals, creating slides, analyzing data, and contributing to the Consulting Team in areas of interest (e.g., recruiting, knowledge management)

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently in the final year of an undergraduate or master’s degree, or with less than 2 years of post-degree work experience
  • Demonstrated outstanding academic performance and leadership in work experience, internships, or relevant extracurriculars
  • Highly logical and numerical with excellent analytical skills
  • Possess an entrepreneurial attitude with a structured approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent in verbal and written communications
  • Strong team collaboration and teamwork abilities
  • Proactive in taking initiative while exercising good judgment to seek support when necessary
  • Strong work ethic with meticulous attention to detail
  • Intellectually curious and skilled at asking relevant questions
  • Capable of operating in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to influence and challenge when needed
  • Able to create an immediate, positive, and credible impression
  • Familiar with basic Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
