Description:
We offer a unique entrepreneurial environment, and our interns will have the opportunity to work directly with distressed companies, financial sponsors, creditors, shareholders, and other stakeholders on situations both in- and out-of-court. Our highly entrepreneurial culture provides for a broad range of responsibilities as well as strong potential for professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Support project team in its day-to-day tasks, delivering value to our clients and serving as a trusted advisor
- Preparation of ad-hoc financial analysis at the direction of team members
- Analyze and summarize large sets of data into digestible formats
- Review financial statements, legal documents, and other relevant information and identify key relevant facts
- Assist with contingency planning, Chapter 11 preparation and reporting, and litigation support analysis
- Develop research and pitch deck support by utilizing various websites and databases including Debtwire, SEC Filings, Company Websites, Capital IQ, and others
- Duration: 10 weeks
Qualifications:
- Pursing a BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related analytical and quantitative fields, preferred
- Ability to summarize documents and start to understand patterns/trends
- Understand corporate finance and accounting concepts
- Energetic, hardworking, creative team player who can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, challenging work environment
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage others' expectations, including ability to recognize and identify when additional guidance is necessary
- Strong communication and business writing skills
- Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Access, required
- Familiarity with Internet-based financial research resources for corporate information, SEC filings, competitive data, etc.

Base Salary Range: $31.47/HR
Flexible Work Policy: Hybrid work schedule: Teneo values in-person collaboration whenever possible. If you are assigned to the New York office, employees are expected to work from the office at least four days a week.
